Following the principles of the Suzuki philosophy, Bernat believes that every child has the potential to learn and master a musical instrument to a high level—whether pursuing a career as a professional musician or simply developing a skill that will last a lifetime. He holds a degree in music pedagogy and is a certified Suzuki teacher (Level 1), currently continuing his training under the mentorship of Ruth Miura.

Deeply dedicated to his students, Bernat organizes concerts, workshops, and events to support and encourage young talent. He was also part of the team that organized the 2024 Swiss National Suzuki Concert, an event that brings together Suzuki students from across the country.

Many of his students have earned awards in both national and international competitions. However, for Bernat, the true goal as a pedagogue is not only to foster a high level of musical performance, but to nurture a deep love for music and instill the discipline that regular practice requires. He emphasizes the importance of respect, effort, and mutual listening—values that go far beyond music and provide essential life lessons.

Bernat holds a teaching position at the Cercle Lémanique d’Études Musicales (CLEM), a music academy in Lutry founded by the renowned pianist Edith Fischer. He also directs and conducts the Chorale d'Enfants de la Levratte, a children’s choir in Nyon.
