Biography

Born in Barcelona in 1993, Bernat Català is a pianist and dedicated music educator whose career spans both performance and teaching.

After completing his undergraduate studies at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMuC), he pursued further training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music in London, with the generous support of the Pedro i Pons Foundation, the Güell Foundation, and the Royal Academy of Music. In 2017, he relocated to Switzerland to specialise in music pedagogy at the Haute École de Musique de Genève.

Bernat Català has had the privilege of studying with a number of distinguished teachers, including Maria Jesús Crespo, Peter Bithel, Diana Ketler, Luiz de Moura Castro, and Sylviane Deferne, whose expert guidance has significantly shaped his artistic journey.
